Expand and Repair Public Health Facilities
$205,100,000
Prop B invests in safe, resilient, and accessible public health infrastructure. This includes renovating and expanding the Chinatown Public Health Center and City Clinic, and making critical repairs to Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Laguna Honda Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, the City’s two largest public health institutions to remain operational, seismically safe, and in regulatory compliance.
Street Safety
Improvements

Prop B improves street and sidewalk designs for a safer experience along City sidewalks, intersections and streets. Funding will be available for traffic safety and road design improvements, such as the intersection improvements at Sloat Boulevard to improve traffic circulation and ensure safer access to the San Francisco Zoo.
New Shelter Sites for Homeless Families

Prop B provides funding for family housing and shelter, including potential site acquisition or renovation.
Revitalize
Public Spaces
$71,000,000
Prop B revitalizes and improves San Francisco’s civic spaces. This includes renovation of Harvey Milk Plaza with accessibility improvements and security upgrades along with the improvement to Downtown public spaces, including work at Hallidie Plaza, Powell Street and the cable car turnaround.
No New Taxes and Strict Oversight
Prop B will not increase property tax rates because it is the City’s policy to retire old bonds before issuing new bonds, keeping the tax rate the same
The bond has accountability standards including transparency through independent annual reviews, audits and reports to the Citizens General Obligation Oversight Committee.
